Outi Crannell was born in Helsinki, Finland. She spent the early years of her career as an artist and fitness guru there. Outi Crannell moved to upstate New York in 1992, teaching in the Finnish School of New York for eighteen years before getting into business for herself as a freelancer in the upstate area. She contributes original paintings and photography to numerous clients in the area.
